The objective is to design and develop a digital presence for a 2D compositor focused on episodic productions, with a workflow centered on Toon Boom Harmony and After Effects. Active in the industry since 2019, the client has contributed to projects distributed across major streaming and broadcast networks, including Netflix, Prime Video, and RAI.
The portfolio is intentionally built as a silent gallery: visual hierarchy and motion are designed to support the reels, not compete with them, so each sequence can be evaluated with maximum clarity.
From a business perspective, the experience is structured to help studios, production teams, and recruiters evaluate reel quality, credits, and role fit in just a few seconds: positioning is clear, key information is immediately accessible, and contact paths are frictionless.
To match the client's industry standards, the platform is built on Next.js to ensure immediate loading times even with heavy video assets. Framer Motion is heavily utilized to orchestrate calm, cinematic transitions that guide the user through the work effortlessly.
The client's mastery lies in working on atmospheres, lights, and shadows to give the scene the right mood. The digital portfolio reflects this by utilizing a deep dark mode, high contrast, and subtle glowing gradients to mimic cinematic lighting.
"I make what is not easy look easy." This principle drives the UI/UX design. Complex background animations and heavy media loading sequences are abstracted away from the user, leaving only a frictionless, elegant experience.
The result is a portfolio experience designed to support hiring decisions quickly: studios, production teams, and recruiters can evaluate reel quality, credits, and role fit in just a few seconds, then move to direct contact without friction.
The visual identity and motion logic are currently being mapped out. The final experience is designed to let studios and recruiters evaluate reels, credits, and role fit in just a few seconds. Interactive mockups and final production assets will be available here soon.
